The Man in the MoonA Poem by Dara
Early one morning before the sun started to rise I peered through the darkness with droopy lids and sleepy eyes.
I gazed out my window when to my wondering eye I saw the moon still shining lighting up the sky.
I was in awe of its beauty so lovely full and so serene and basked in the glow of the ethereal soft blue beams.
Then I said a prayer for lasting peace on earth, while to the man in the moon I gave a wink and his face lit up with mirth.
