Like a ship lost at sea

set adrift in a raging storm

no land in sight for thee.

Whoever that might be

your children led like lambs to slaughter

no hope for them I see.

Open up your eyes and see

the false prophet who leads you there

cares not for you and me.

An extraordinarily intelligent and far-reaching piece of writing. People all over the world, never mind where they live, are too easily influenced by non stop self.glorification. Those arrogant folk who fail to stop and weight their words, think they can talk and talk until their followers' brains arenns are numb and their owners will just surrender. The world needs true leaders with self control, political experience, diplomacy, intelligence and an insight into TODAY'S world and the essential need for unity.

Should probably keep my vents to self but see so much- too much - manipulation within politics. Would help if candidates wherever set out an agenda.. but they don't for fear of being caught offguard and they're found to be wanting fraudsters! Will go.. before i'm drummed off the planet. :)

Sadly I lost faith in the system long ago. So now I pick and choose my battles by way of single issues. The rest I'll leave to the corrupted and do my best to work within their rules. well .... false prophets are a scourge no doubt ..and lead us all astray .. these are tough times but one can be informed and make intelligent choices at the voting booth ... the path the present administration has taken us on ..along with Reid, Pelosi and Halder is one of obscene spending with no accountability (worse than all before) i think they have purposefully divided the nation by race, class and religion cramming PC garbage down everyones gullet ... but i am faith based ..and know that God has hands on in all things ..no matter the small size of our lives .. He is the foundation of comfort and assurance ... so vote i say ... vote away ... and pray for the best ;)

I understand, and am trying to maintain hope in the face of so much insanity and anger. Some of them are on this site, so I'll not say what I really want. (Remember the Dixie Chicks?) I used to wonder how a country full of good people could allow themselves to be taken over by a monster, and now I know. Hopefully, the sensible, goodhearted among us will use our votes to prevent it. Thank you for this poem.
