A most fascinating bird, indeed! I was taking my outdoor Christmas decorations down one year, turned around, and saw one right in front of me...just fluttering there, like he knew of the spin my three indoor cats were in!

I must get a feeder!

Love humming birds! So did nana Pat, she always had SO many feeders. I know because I was constantly filling them.

I read that the Cherokee believed that seeing one before a big event was good luck. :)

What a sweet image of Aunt Pat amongst those lovely creatures. Seems to me she was part Cherokee as well? I believe they would bring good luck. There is almost something ethereal about them :-)
