dear Dara... Hummers come in so many styles in different locations in the world, I suppose.
However, they are all very very busy flitting about... a real inspiration...
Your poem is poignant and small as a hummingbird and is tattooed on my shoulder (just pretending to have a tattoo). I do have a fragile gold necklace
with very sparkly colors of green and red and purple in the shape of a hummer... that people admire and tell me how much their Mother or Grandmother love hummingbirds. I wear the necklace most every day.

I actually saw one last summer, a hummingbird, in my garden of Peonies. And when I ran indoors to get my glasses, it was gone. But the thrill Is what i'm trying to convey to you......And what a thrill it was....dana
