Love in the Golden YearsA Poem by DaraLooking at you through the eyes of love still beautiful beyond measure I catch a glimpse of your warm sweet smile and those lips that I so treasure. Your silver hair once golden, a crown of for all to see those tender words unspoken, a testament to me. Though time and aging have slowed us down and our bodies are getting weaker my love for you keeps going strong the moments we share much sweeter. For in my heart I know that soon our time together must end and one of us must still go on savoring memories of a lost best friend. © 2016 DaraAuthor's Note
