GeorgiaA Poem by DaraA bundle of energy from head to toe with wide- eyed innocence you claimed me. Barking frantically at your reflection in the mirror laughing to myself, who could blame me? You love to snuggle up close on the couch your sturdy little body warms me. Your gentle breathing calms my soul seems like nothing, now, could harm me. Those perky pink ears that crown your head although perfect and quite endearing, are pawns in Mother Nature’s game of chess you were born without your hearing. But you possess what the blind can see and also what the deaf can hear. Love that transcends all space and time Georgia, you’re forever, on my mind. © 2015 DaraAuthor's Note
