Sing Me A Song

Sing Me A Song

A Poem by Dara

Sing me a song of laughter and love

filled with sunshine and butterflies flitting above.

Sing me a song of beauty and grace

with minstrels and poets filling the place.

Sing me a song that I can dance to

whirling and twirling the whole night through.

Sing me that song, loud clear and strong

to last through the night and

all the day long
.

I am glad it brought a smile to you. Always such a pleasure to see you here.
A wonderful bright poem. Song is so powerful a force isn't it? Strange when you think about it, how sound in certain structures can evoke emotion in us?

This has such a delicate beauty to it, I imagine Cinderella in her gown twirling in a garden of butterflies!
Very pretty.
