Desert Son

Desert Son

A Poem by Dara
"

”Where are the people?” resumed the little prince at last. “It’s a little lonely in the desert…” “It is lonely when you’re among people, too,” said the snake.” Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

"

Under the light of

a desert moon

he quietly sits and ponders.

The meaning of life

full of sadness and strife,

when will it all end?

He wonders.

Then he looks up high

at the desert sky

with stars twinkling all around.

And thoughts fill his head

of nature instead

where no other man can

be found.

Another wonderful poem that takes flow and meaning to a whole different level. It's beautiful and sings freely off the page. Amazing work! ^^
