Distant Shores

Dedicated to a cyber mate who is in hospital.

When at night I go to sleep

your arms wrapped ‘round me

breathing deep,

I dream of sand and ocean’s tide

the moon and stars our only guide.

Lights in the distance from ships at sea

reflect the love which carries me

to distant shores wherein I find

 a man who is passionate, loving

 and kind.
