For the Children

For the Children

A Poem by Dara

Look closely children

and you will find

within shadowed corners

 of your mind,

a warm glow, a treasure rare

 a beautiful spirit

living there.

A heart that beats

a mind to wonder

let no man leave

this soul

asunder.

Thank you :-) Yes, I always say I learned more from my students than I think I taught them.

I bet they would disagree. :)
You're welcome.
The beauty of your words compliment the striking black and white photography, Dara. Your profession was one that I most admire, ever since my now college son was a preschooler. There just aren't enough words to thank our teachers for their efforts and inspiration, but I know my son and I are grateful for the influences given!

Bless you!
