Oh my, thank you for your warm, generous review. I am glad you enjoyed my poem.
Goodness, Dara!
Where have you been?
From captivating title, perfect eye-candy illustration, spot-on rhymes, font choice and color, all through a flow smooth as warm wet silk in a soft springtime breeze … you had me.
This discreetly metaphoric composition of sheer sensually romantic bliss speaks in a voice any warmth-wishing ear, must surely open to willingly hear.
I've never been so gently, yet, artfully and helplessly pulled into the imagery of such a scintillating moment as I have while reading down through each entreating inference of your intricately laid, charming spell … before I knew it, you had my breath captivated in the beauty and bouquet of your winsome womanly garden.
Now, where did I leave those gloves … wink*
I love this, Dara, truly a gentleman's dream of a poem … big, warm thank you hug! ⁓ Richard

I am so happy that my attempt at sensual prose had such an effect on you. I wrote it in all of several minutes time. Something just came over me and I have yet to reproduce the likes of it again. Many many thanks for this wonderful review.
PS. gloves are not mandatory ;-)

How wonderful that you enjoyed my romantic poem. It was one of the first times I dipped my toes into something erotic-like. It was inspired by my Aussie mate who passed away two years ago. (Seems like yesterday and I have not been able to write anything like it since then.) Many thanks and bless you for being so supportive. All my best, Dara

This was beautiful indeed. Your descriptions were so crisp it was almost like I was there feeling the warmth of the sun and the smells of the flowers. This was truly a great poem. Thank you for putting it out there for us to read

I so appreciate your kind warm comment and support. Thank you for taking the time to read my poem!
Wow! Wonderful poem. I could imagine walking through the garden and I could feel the description. I especially loved your metaphor at the end about the gardner's rough hands tending to her flowers. I could imagine those rough hands on her soft skin as if his lover were a delicate flower. Great job!

Thank you so much! It was definitely inspired by a very romantic gardener I know :-)
Such a rich, flowerful poem. It had traces of velveteen petals strewn all through the rhythm.
(Though I personally feel the picture you headlined with doesn't quite fit the eloquence of your verse).
