I Am A Woman A Lady

I Am A Woman A Lady

A Poem by April Mitchell
"

Women/Girls don't let anyone tell you who or what you are!Look at yourself and build your self-esteem!

"
When I stare in the mirror
I like what I see
But when I look on the inside
I love what’s inside me
I am beautiful and sexy
Very pleasant on the outside
I have a good heart
And am smart on the inside
It may be hard to believe
Because beauty in and out is rare
But I tell you right now
Both is what I share
I won’t give away my respect
Nor will I give away my dignity
I am a real woman a lady
No one has the power to label me
When I walk past people
Most of the time
They stare for a while
Because my presence is sublime
I am a woman a lady
Something that is precious and rare
I am a woman a poetess
And my soul I shall bare
