Nothing to Fear

Nothing to Fear

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Someone special brought me back to slow blues and Chris Rea.

"

And there,

through

the misty morn,

you, all soft

lines,

whimsical.

Cheesecloth and denim,

golden hair

flowing.

Fresh as a daisy,

warm as a buttercup.

Shoeless

on warm dewy

grass.

Free as a wisp.

Fond

as a memory

that one

wants to hold

close.

A smile,

a giggle,

a breath,

a sigh.

A child in

woman's clothing,

an angel

walking

the earth.

I see you dancing,

moving with the breeze

of the slow blues,

eyes closed,

nothing to fear.

This is the best poem I've read by you . . . admittedly, I haven't read you that much . . . but this one really stands out. I love the light loving touch with a ton of unique sparkling details. Anyone would be honored & delighted to be the object of this poem (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank you Chris. It helped to have a special person in mind who is quite ethereal.
John, this poem...this is a jewel! ... i've never seen such lovely images in a poem (and such lines) that can almost get well tasted, smelled and touched. I humble hug you in truly a gesture of admiration. sincerely, Amber.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
