Ache

Ache

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Indeed we hold a flame in our bellies as we seek true satisfaction.

"

Yes we ache and ache and ache,

ah that ache and sweet, sweet pain

of forbidden desire.

Indeed its sweet to feel and feel again

as we both feed that urgent, raging fire

and pray the flames be fanned,

stoked till rising to a burning, blazing pyre

that can be quelled but not extinguished

and our joy can reach no higher.

It's weird how something forbidden can be so much more intense, possibly, becuz the rest of our lives have grown mundane. It's an escape, in my experience. I believe that when one's life gets back in balance with regular spontaneous bliss, the forbidden doesn't have such an aching, aching pull, as you describe here like an addiction (which it is, for some, at some points) Fondly, Margie

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
