Self Aware

Self Aware

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

We should all accept ourselves.

"

I am who I am

and I will always be me,

for that's who I am!

We are unique and that is our speciality. If we try to change ourselves than we will lose that uniqueness and as a result the world also will be so boring. Self comtentment is everything.....

I know what you're saying, this world is going down hill so fast, part of it already has
Too bad it takes most of us most of our lives to finally come to this level of self-acceptance. This morning my newsfeed is plastered with some young poet arguing with a hater who says crappy things about her writing. It's a waste of time to defend oneself to someone who's determined to hate you. Responding only gives these noxious haters satisfaction -- attention -- they win when we defend ourselves. This poem would be the perfect answer to haters, if one can't resist defending oneself! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank you so much.
A senryu with impact. We have to accept who we are and work with it. If we don't like ourselves we will find it difficult to like others. Meaningful. Good morning John.

So now you think you're god himself lol. You senile demented, rheumy piece of s**t. Your sense of self-worth is quite misplaced. For all your fuckedup delusions you need a fat d***o slammed up your dry, cracked, wooden old a*****e! You should drink bleach.

I sometimes feel . I think I am sometimes anybody else then my true self. Sometimes is hard to see who we truly are. So many options are floating at my head - all the time .

I've heard it said one cannot truly love another unless one loves oneself. Thanks for reading.
