Still SeekingA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenDarwin says we will forever seek.Constantly
looking past the
face and beyond, hoping something
else will come
along. Something
better, more
fulfilling, more exciting, younger
perhaps, sexier, more
independent and
definitely sexually
liberated. Restless for
the chase, for the big
game hunt to continue. Locking
stares grasping at
glances, ready to
leave half gnawed
carcasses to rot in favour of fresh
meat. Perhaps
there will be a feast of warmer
flesh or simply only starvation in the
parched wilderness to show for all the trouble. 23/05/19 © 2019 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's NoteReviews
