Krall

Krall

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

An amazingly versatile singer who even does justice to covers.

"

Your lips seduce

as your face expresses

the deep tones

and colours

of jazz.

I feel myself wilt

and yet rebirth

as the sound

fills my lungs

with you,

with your unique

and waxy voice.

Its silky, sultry notes

breathe life

back into my soul,

touches me in places

I have never been

touched.

Melts me into

warm ice flows,

into the purity

of your DNA.

And there I

would long to exist

simply to serve you!

An incredible poem one can feel with her music. She is indeed one of those artist who’s larger than the musical notes and lyrics. You’ve captured a moment here, an admirer watching, listening and dreaming.

I absolutely LOVE this! I was just watching Sheryl Crow perform on DVD last evening & I was lusting after her guitar players long long legs in soft soft faded jeans. I was thinking -- would it be too weird to show how watching a musician's body is half of what I get off on, when I watch many different musicians perform? Now you've answered my question. Definitely not too weird. You've inspired me greatly. And I love Diana Krall, knew exactly who this was about when I saw the title! You did her justice in a multi-layered way! Thanks Coyote John. Can never tire of her singing.
Your depiction of her voice is perfect in yours. From the mild glancing intonations of her notes to your tone in this tome. The transference of your sentiment comes thru like a warm breeze on a cold night:) lovely write John

That voice! Thanks Chris.
Awww this expression of adoration is so admirable and superbly written. I can imagine LIVING in the moment as someone sings for me, and lures me into lifetime of servitude. -Markus

Thank you Markus. if you haven't listened to Diana Krall please give her a try.
i think sometimes i would rather make love to the sound of a singer, and imagining...than the real thing...
a song won't hurt us and we can replay it as often as we would like or need.
