whispered to cassocked ears

as they plan their next assault on

Prayers of the saints. Forgotten. I liked this poem. I could write a epic story from. Sometime I want to enter some people minds and see who they are truly are. Wonderful use of words John. Made the reader think and ponder.

You are right John and you are welcome.
I attend church regularly, and although one tries to close one's mind to such things, or perhaps, more generously, to give Christian benefit of doubt, it is often difficult to ignore the signs that shout loud and clear, 'I am here for lip service only, as opposed to true belief.'

On the broader issue of the malaise that haunts much of religion, I can only pray it will come to pass that such things become a thing of the past.

Nothing at all wrong with truely believing and doing good in the world Beccy.
These words sent shivers through me. My Dad was a Catholic, he brought us up to think for ourselves. None of us are religious.

again, i am reminded of my young Catholic days...having knowledge that there were bad people who thought confession was the solution..and yet went out and did the same bad things over and over....
the definition of insincerity ....
