![]() StewingA Poem by John Alexander McFadyen![]() We've all been there!![]() Stewing Pregnant pauses, like stagnant, brackish water, lying putrefying in a ditch. Brown and foul smelling, the stench of decay, the stink of death. Feelings deep in the mire, submerged in slimy water, festering. There they gather the detritus of passing thoughts, of long stored gripes. There they swell in that brown, bacterial soup, heated by perceived injustice, until boiling point is reached, until they erupt as frenzied froth, caustic enough to cause acid burns to skin. 24/10/17 © 2017 John Alexander McFadyenReviews
