Some love lasts.

Enduring Love

The ice melted

but in wet tears.

That burning fire,

that full stoked

grate,

roared like a proud lion

courting his lioness.

Our bellies filled

with anticipation,

desire,

yearning,

a deeply loving lust

that can only

be borne

from two souls

colliding

'neath the stars.

From two lovers

who share

the honesty

of their hearts.

And in that

deep womb

we both know

we are.
