NotionsA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenHow we fail to heed the warnings.Notions As a child I tried not to step on the cracks in the pavement. It was a ritual to keep me feeling safe and in control. In adulthood I disregarded such immature superstitions, seeing them as based upon old wives tales and poppycock. So I stepped on every line in the sand. Inevitably, I fell between the cracks. 18/09/17 © 2017 John Alexander McFadyenReviews
