The Face of Doubt Despite, because I knew your past and held the secret of your breast. I fell away to hell so deep that I drowned beneath all the dark sorrows that the earth had buried from the eyes of man. The tarry treacle squeezed from hearts, pricked by the thorny rose of love, filled my nostrils to suffocation and caused my sorry soul to abandon me. 07/08/17 © 2017 John Alexander McFadyenReviews
