Saving AndromedaA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenThe abridged story.Saving
Andromeda Oh Perseus the Elysian Fields far behind, you wandered, a hero too many miles from home. Such polydectian deceit dictated your quest for the Gorgon's head. If you had not been fished from the chest, then both you and your mother would certainly have perished. But rescued you were and later, your reasonable sister and your quick acting and cunning brother showed you the way to the lair. There you hid beneath the cap to decapitate an earthy and mortal sister who, without reflection would have turned you to stone. Victorious, on the journey home, you came upon Cassiopeia's daughter tied to a rock, naked in her beauty, and so you slew the serpent and won the queen of men for your own. 10/07/17 © 2017 John Alexander McFadyenReviews
