At Peace

At Peace

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Acceptance

"

At Peace

Gulls cry,

waves crash,

foaming over shale and sand.

Salt spray flies

on a whipping wind

and white horses dance

atop a seal grey sea.

On the deserted beach

a lone sentinel

looks upon a misty

bleak horizon,

and breathes deep

the cleansed air

of contentment.

Wish everyone did Ron. Hope you are good and many thanks!
The ocean is pure magic. Full of beauty and a level of intrigue that never ends. So much life and a raw uncontrolled freedom. Fantastic stuff. Wish I was there now. Relaxation therapy. Thanks for sharing.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
