Such rare moments of acceptance and serenity are fleeting but so rewarding. Everything in the nature feels more beautiful then!

The poem brings peace to me just by reading it. And sometimes "acceptance" is exactly the imagery you've portrayed here, except in the form of internal feelings. Acceptance feels like a pleasant day at the beach. I loved this. Ill probably remember this poem next time i go to the beach!!
Ugh, love it, and it's so true. I have taken my 4 year old daughter to the beach every year since her birth, she loves it, and it's still even sort of an escape for me, even though my wife and I had created our own memories down there (where I proposed to her)....I still love it, the sounds and sights you describe beautifully, clearly bringing it all in to my head! Thank you for the beautiful writing!
A walk on the beach. Nothing better for inspiration and for cleansing the soul. The salt air, the sound of the waves, the feel of the water tickling toes....it's all there for the taking and so peaceful. I enjoyed your write...and I love the beach. Lydi**
There's nothing like contentment.. especially when it births gentle words.

There is something so peaceful and healing about the ocean - perhaps it's the ebb and flow of the tide. Again, your talent shines. Julie

alone with the beach...contentment...
i am reminded of "the uninvited" from 1944---the opening scene..an eeriness to it, but also an odd beauty...and a feeling of just letting scene breath in itself.

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
