Dream Lovers

Dream Lovers

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

The power of love denied.

"

Dream Lovers

And so I slip,

again.

Slide so easily

into the comfort,

of you.

The warm breasts

of your image,

the welcoming thighs

of your gentle persona,

the sweet kiss

of your delicious,

delectable, honeyed words.

Indeed I am fallen,

besotted,

under the spell,

where I am intoxicated

by the illusional belief

that we are lovers.

nice use of metaphor in this sensual piece...

and Dream Lover, only Bobby Darin song i ever liked, but it is one of my 10 favorite all time songs...
"dream lover, until then, i'll go to sleep and dream again--that's the only thing to do, till all my lover's dreams come true"

yes, come true..the imagination longs for...the reality writes about the longing...hoping.

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
