The Master Craftsman

The Master Craftsman

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

A tribute to an amazing writer, Leslie Philibert.

"

The Master Craftsman

You vacuum pack words,

crafting them carefully

in your Bavarian eyrie,

and place them in crystal clear goblets,

overflowing with colour and meaning.

Like sailing ships in glass bottles,

you let us see the whole story,

shrunken and in digestible detail.

This is truly art.

Cheers Tony, he is indeed.
It is a delight to come across such craftsmanship that exudes excellence of wordmanship. Really like the analogy here, really makes every written consonant and syllable intertwine smoothly. “Like sailing ships in glass bottles,” this took me to place in my childhood - Great work.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
