Kakure Krishitan (Hidden Christians)

Kakure Krishitan (Hidden Christians)

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Inspired by the film (movie) 'Silence'

"

Kakure Krishitan

(Hidden Christians)

In his silence

God neither proves

nor disproves

his love of mankind.

In his declaration of faith

man neither proves

nor disproves

his love of mankind.

For in the name of all faiths

there has been suffering.

Unimaginable suffering

inflicted upon believers

by non-believers,

and upon non-believers by

believers.

In whose name?

For which cause?

Surely true faith

is silent;

hidden in the hearts

and deeds and the intentions

of those who would

love their Gods,

their fellow humans

and our precious universe?

Many thanks Leslie; good to see you again.
A lot of religions have a lot to answer for, for all the atrocities they have done on the innocent in the name of following a God. More cruelty lies in beliefs and those preaching theses beliefs and the followers are just pawns! A furnace of a write here John lol

Why thank you Andrew; I fear it was sparked in hells kitchen!
yes, i agree with this...real Christians show their faith in actions, not words...there are those who speak loudest..but carry a hypocritical stick...

and those who silently move in the right direction helping others, being kind...actions speak so much louder than words, don't they?

nicely done...

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
