Kakure Krishitan (Hidden Christians)A Poem by John Alexander McFadyenInspired by the film (movie) 'Silence'Kakure Krishitan (Hidden Christians)
In his silence God neither proves nor disproves his love of mankind. In his declaration of faith man neither proves nor disproves his love of mankind. For in the name of all faiths there has been suffering. Unimaginable suffering inflicted upon believers by non-believers, and upon non-believers by believers. In whose name? For which cause? Surely true faith is silent; hidden in the hearts and deeds and the intentions of those who would love their Gods, their fellow humans and our precious universe?
