Emma Joy

Emma Joy

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

The most wonderful soul I have met.

"

Emma Joy

She who has such beauty

can also be as fragile

as bone china.

Her ethereal form

caught as a moth

in the proverbial flame.

Dripping in the sensuality

of candle wax

upon this earth,

as her light flickers

and entices us

to her sweet deserts.

But she herself

cannot dine

as love's anorexia

is her craving and her

starvation.

Indeed she is Kelly, thank you.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Em for a long time John and to my shame haven't thought of doing this which shows the true gentleman among us. She is a leading light on here and always puts others before her self. You have penned a long-overdue tribute to one of the WC's finest poets and nicest souls.
*Applauds* - this is so well done.
I doff my cap to you my friend.

you`re welcome,i`ll check her out
The mind does terrible things to those whose image is not true to themselves. A beautiful life to love fading away from the destructive mind. Very nice and thoughtful. Thanks,

yes, beauty doesn't mean immunity to fragility... your description of her fragile nature is exquisite, John... anorexia is such a powerful sickness affecting far too many... well-done!

Thank you FT. I used anorexia in the sense of a metaphor.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
