Carpe DiemA Poem by John Alexander McFadyen“Don't you ever get the feeling that all your life is going by and you're not taking advantage of it? Do you realize you've lived nearly half the time you have to live already?” ― Ernest Hemingway.Carpe Diem Leave of absence, not often granted as noses to the grindstone real life passes us by. We are burdened by fear, by bullying employers, mortgages and desires. Children are expensive commodities too. Then too late to relent and take matters into our own hands. Too late to live life to the full, we fall upon the rusty swords of aging and die.
