Love Story

Love Story

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

When love is love.

"

Love Story

Where there are stars

I will be guided to your heart,

for beneath the sky

you walk upon the earth

and bless it with your fragrance.

With eyes tight shut

my lips will choose you,

for I will hear your soul

and know its whisper

as I draw you close.

In the sensual passion

of our kiss,

there will be a lullaby

that rises as a swift

into an azure sky

in sweet, sweet song.

And we, we will command

the oceans and the storms,

each time our bodies join

in the sacred rite,

and splendid ardour,

of this our joyous

communion.

Royal love like that of a king and his queen, that he has chosen himself, because he loves her truly and sees that together they will reign harmoniously. Very delightful and noble write!

Absolutely and like Amy Winehouse such a sad loss.
Now this is love! The melody belongs to only two and no one else can sing it quite the same way. Karen Carpenter sang the song you chose to accompany your words so beautifully. Your poem is an ode to love and all is encompasses. Wonderful work, John. Lydi**

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
