ChoicesA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenWe choose the path.Choices We either explore our chances or stay hidden in our beds, covers drawn over our heads as we hibernate against the bitter winds of life. We either wander the earth or remain rooted to the spot, fearful that the wolves will tear the flesh from our sorry bones. We either explore the arms of love or stay ‘safe’ within our own empty wilderness, where past hurt transfixes us to a soulless future. Those are our choices and no one else is to blame.
