Vampiric LustA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenVampiric lust Poetesses fall from love to hate in the blink of an eye, in a single lung filling breath, at the merest intrusion into their ink laden thoughts. Emotions laid bare by bitter reminiscence, raw nerves, so deep in their souls that they lie buried there forever; bursting forth like vampires hot for bloody revenge and ready to tear the flesh from the carcass of man. So fragile the female psyche that we must tip toe over the crypt where they lay in wait, hot and bothered in the heat of August.
