Father’s Pride

I love all of my beautiful children,

but when I look at each in turn,

I love them more.

Inside a bubble of delight,

of swollen pride, just grows

to fill my chest

until I am bursting

full of joy.

And I realise

just how lucky I am

to love all of my beautiful children

equally, unreservedly

and unconditionally.

Thank you Vidya. Though they are all adults now I still feel the same. In fact I am so proud of the people they are becoming.

They will always be our kids even when they grow up.Mine have some growing yet 11,9 and 5 but everyday I see how much older and bigger they are getting and they fill me with pride when they aren't driving me mad lol

Oh mine are 20, 23 and 39! and they still drive me mad at times lol!
