The Tale of Baroness Warsi

The Tale of Baroness Warsi

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Baroness Warsi, a Muslim and a British Government Minister, has resigned and spoken out against the handling of the Gaza crisis.

"

The Tale of Baroness Warsi

You told the truth

and now they will slay you.

A Baroness and a beautiful,

evocative woman.

You were spawned from the earth

and not the annals of the skies,

occupied by lechery

and the despicable

treachery of the old school tie.

But your impeccable

bravery and honour

will be denied

as the scheming system

of pseudo democracy

and Tory lies

closes around your throat.

I was wondering, do Muslim men stand behind their women, as they speak out with such conviction? I truly admire their valor.

Good work, John!
