Giving

Giving

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Giving

And should you let me

kiss your luscious lips

then I would die

pressed into

your sweet breasts.

That I could taste

every whetted entreat you offer

would be divine;

and then I would be

in surrender

of your blatant satisfaction.

I would pledge my body

and my soul

to every dream

you have been guilty of,

and would impale you

deep upon the blade

of your ultimate desires.

Like this too, this has an almost metaphysical touch, could be a love poem from Donne, good one.

Praise indeed Leslie, just grateful you enjoyed it. Many thanks.
I'm absolutely certain I'm not the first woman to tell you this, but you are just too much! Another arrow shot straight for the heart...your aim is true!

Not sure that is true. Just enjoy writing and if others like it I am doubly blessed. Thank you Kelly.. read more
You and your impaling, but you do it so craftily, doesn't seem like it would hurt.

Nuff said Poppy, many thanks!
This poem gives me the psychological notion that the older some people get the more they’re influenced by natural urges evoked through subconscious acts of childhood regression. The mother-child bond is a strong one that often develops into psychic euphemistic incarnations later on. Everyone wants to feel well, as well as they felt as children under the care of their mothers.

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
