Lovers SunsetA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenLovers Sunset Between the green dressed earth, the sea and the sky, is a place where my dreams were born. When the day is done and your toil of soil is ended, you take a breath, pick up your quill and let it’s gentle sighs spread like light across the pages, in ethereal words that float in warm enchantments. They spill in sparkling stars and the laughter of angels bathed in moonbeam rays and fall into my eyes. That place, between the earth the sea and the sky, is where we met. Where I saw your naked soul, where my captivation for your sweet heart was complete; where my desire for you grew insatiate. So now I long to leave the sky behind, were poets play their timeless games of words. And I yearn to kiss your lips in tender love and adoration, and walk hand in hand with you forever upon the beaches of this earth.
