Love RejectedA Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
Love Rejected
You made promise after promise, life was to change for us but you were drowning in a sea of guilt. A prison with walls of regret thick with the rings of passing years. You deserved nothing, no love, no future, no identity. Such subtle abuse that saps all self belief had left you moribund. And I as an intruder, in such grief, had no place at your table of servitude. 12/01/14 © 2014 John Alexander McFadyenReviews
