Seeing Love

In my eyes is only you,

a clarity of sight

that triumphs over all.

History has died

and is not mourned.

My vision bright,

you’ve lit the fire at my core.

I see you,

whole,

complete,

magnificent.

My very joy for living.

I offer you

the reflection of tomorrow

as I fall in grace

into your eyes

and into your soul,

to swim there as oxygen

feeding your heart

whose adoration I will nurture

and treasure for all time.

History has dies and is not mourned...That speaks to me on two fronts - 1) you are living now in the present and will let the past lie in its dust and 2) that all those others who came before pale in comparison to the love you are seeing now. They are real while the rest was merely temporal. A well versed piece of work John. It flows very nicely. Thanks for sharing it!
