On Parchment

On Parchment

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

On Parchment

What I pen on parchment

are feelings I have known.

Sometimes the abstract ravings

of a sun stroked mind.

A place where dehydration

sucks the inhibition from

poisonous snake bites,

or the thousand cuts

that bleed red from my heart

drain away all hope.

But in the boudoir

I am yours and

you are mine

and in this delicious knowing

we come together

in sweet and private feasts

where I offer you a menu,

a la carte, if you prefer

and you offer it back to me

with the full flavour of desire.

Thank you Claire!
Awww, I loved this, loved the romance in it, you portray it very well. I loved it, very well written and written with so much heart

"I am yours and
you are mine"

Loved this line, so much love in them, two small lines that hold so much!

Amazing

Thanks Sye!
would that all life's sweetest moments were served al dente....such a magnificent feast is love...we can hardly wait for that next feast.... Dionysus has been prevalent and lingers in the dining hall...serving the nectar of life in abundance and asking only your indulgence...sweet and warm and flowing with the amorous nuances of romance...ahhh

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
