Love's EffectA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenLove’s Effect Butterflies in droves invade my belly when we speak of love. They flutter and dance in the warm spring sunshine of our union and leave me breathless with a true desire to share with you a heart and soul filled with your majesty. A burning thing that spreads its heat until I stand erect in your honour and can do no other than serve your hunger well. And when these delicate and beautiful creatures settle upon the organ that is this fertile stamen, to sup upon our sweet nectar, I fall in soft circles of star filled hope as my moon collides with your sweet and perfect Venus. 17/04/13 © 2013 John Alexander McFadyenReviews
