Sleepless PoetsA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenSleepless Poets Sometimes, when our minds are uncluttered by life, when free from the chains of time and expectation, in that silent space between night and day, we rise to creation. Our minds can explore the universe our hearts can feel each and every warm ray of sun; reach into the heavens of our love and adoration. Or we can plumb the treacle black depths of hell to find the darkest of our despairs, to feel each and every cut and blue bruise that forces its pain upon our wracked and tortured hearts. We collect these deep, moonlit thoughts, then strike the keys to purge them one by one from the virgin pages of our over tired minds. And so, another write is done. 25/03/13 © 2013 John Alexander McFadyenReviews
