Avoiding DamnationA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenAvoiding
Damnation You stole fragments of my soul as
I slept in trust and hope in
your unmade bed of lies. You
deftly swept the pieces under
your carpet of deceit where
I could not reach them. I
fell so easily, black
widow’s prey, into
your spun web of delusions, where
you tried to ensnare me. A
child of love who
holds no gods, but
I swear I heard an angel's cry. A
crystal melody of truth, begging
me to flee, urging
my escape from the
burning gates of hell. 27/01/13 © 2013 John Alexander McFadyenReviews

People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..Writing
