Angels are Delicate

Angels are Delicate

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Angels are Delicate

Their beauty is true,

without question.

They have poise and charm,

an elegance of being

so far above mere mortals.

They stand true deportment,

straight backed and graceful,

their hair long, silken strands

their skin milky pure, unchaste.

Their breath is hallowed,

their words misty whispers

that caress the soul

with warm dreams.

Their laugh is a harp of doves

rippling in enchanted echoes,

deep in the heart of our minds.

But even so

angels are delicate.

"their hair long, silken strands
their skin milky pure, unchaste." Especially love those two lines. Wonderful poem!

Different people find different things beautiful. I think everyone can agree that angels are undeniable beautiful. A beauty that is so much more than looks. What they mean to you and how you picture them are irrelevant to this fact. I think so anyways. I love this poem!

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
