I Carve Out My Heart

I Carve Out My Heart

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

I carve out my heart.

I carve out my heart, tear it from my chest
And offer it to you from sinner’s hands
That you may kiss it moist with blood red lips
And tend to its deep mortal wounds;
That you may caress it wet between your thighs
To heal the scars that savage beings made
And pump it full of life to make it beat again.

John McFadyen, You pick your words very carefully, don't you? Every word seems to pulsate with intertwined meanings. You are magnificently sensual even with raw pain... wow!

Thank you 'Spirit' for such a lovely comment.
wow, truly deep and beautiful and like someone said raw! A bit sensual at one point too. I can relate to this. Someone with a dark and deeply wounded heart that needs the right person to heal it. Truly lovely right, such depth and beauty in only 7 lines. Amazing job! 100
God Bless

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
