A Poem by Passingthoughts

At night I lay in bed awake,
And think of why the earth does shake.
I toss and turn untill the dawn,
With hopes my nightmars will soon be gone.
For I am just a simple girl,
Here stuck alone in this huge world.
Yet life has has thrown me through a loop,
The lonely soldier who lost her troop.
The lessons we learn cannot be taught,
Because the suffering and pain must be fought.
Yet through it all we find some hope,
And fight the urge to hang that rope.
Cycling through again and again,
For all that was and that has ever been.
