Never Fade Away

One of my favorite writings. I don't really know why but I just like this one. Hope you do also...

I watched you fly
Into a cloud of despair
I watched you crash
Into a mountain of emptiness

This day is shallow
And full of regret
This day is not my own
It is a distant memory of you

I watched you slowly die away
I watched your smile slowly fade
I watched you drown yourself in shame
I watched until the very end...

i like this very much. i felt the emotion you put into it. i think this really put emotions into words when you are saying goodbye/letting go of something/someone.
