Shadows

Shadows

A Poem by Passingdaze
"

Short little poem I wrote recently

"

The thought escapes me
And turns into an empty stare
Another scar or tale untold
Another breath I was never supposed to take

The shadows will hide me
From the voices that I still hear
I will let them inside
I will let them bind me

you can murder (in a great way) an emotion with precision markus. you've found what everyone else is lacking. good job once again.

Painful memories are the hardest to deal with. You've just about nailed what "numbing" can do - "I will let them bind me"
