Dreams In Black & White

A poem for,about,and inspired by a girl I think about a lot.

Another night,you're on my mind.

Sparkling like a light autumn rain,shining like the brightest star.

 

I look at your picture and your eyes seem to smile.

I can see a world of beauty deep within them,a world I would give anything to be a part of.

 

I close my eyes to dream once more,to dream of better days.

I hope the words will come tonight,I pray they will flow out of me and touch your soul.

 

They say faith can move mountains and hope is all we'll ever have.

I open my eyes and smile,because my faith will not waiver and hope is a word I embrace.

 

I look up at the stars tonight,gentle against an empty sky.

I can't help but to think of you,your words still burning in my mind.

 

I hope I get the answers I'm looking for...

I hope one day I'll get to live these dreams everyday.
