You Are So Ugly

You Are So Ugly

A Poem by Pasky

You are so ugly
Yes you,
You are ugly

It’s baffling how crude your features are
You who fools all
But not me

You are so ugly to me
When you come
I find myself looking away

It’s staggering
To me

How hideous
So foul

But I hear,
I can see
The venom that spews from your mouth

Its blackness
It glistens
It drips in long thick swallows and drops from your mouth
Comes out from your soul

You are so ugly
But you are so beautiful

Such smooth lips
Such an aroma that steeps from your pores
Rivers of silk cascading down your back
You walk with the grace of a swan

You are so beautiful
But so ugly inside

I know the decay that lies inside
The lips that act as blades
A walk that’s full of vanity
The aroma that follows the dead

You are beautiful
But so ugly inside
